On Tuesday, January 31, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., the contractor will install utility infrastructure across Verch Way at Tangerine Road. The traveling public can anticipate the following impacts:
- Traffic will be intermittently reduced to one lane of alternating travel on Verch Way at Tangerine Road
- Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic
On Tuesday, January 31, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be intermittent flagging operations along Tangerine road from Camino de Manana to La Cholla Boulevard to help direct traffic while the contractor paves utility crossings along Tangerine Road. Expect delays.
On Thursday, February 2, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., the contractor will install utility infrastructure across Sage Brook Road at Tangerine Road. The traveling public can anticipate the following impacts:
- Traffic will be intermittently reduced to one lane of alternating travel on Sage Brook Road at Tangerine Road
- Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic
There will be an increased amount of truck traffic along Tangerine Road between Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard and Camino de Oeste the week of January 30th to haul in materials. Please be cautious and do not follow the trucks into the work zones.

Tangerine Corridor Constructors (TCC) is scheduled to begin removing and reconstructing Camino de Mañana, south of Tangerine Road. Work activities are scheduled from February 13 through February 26, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. During this time you can expect the following:
- Camino de Mañana will be temporarily closed from Big Sky Ranch Drive to Tangerine Road
- Residents and the traveling public will need to use Twin Peaks Road as an alternate route
- Traffic control will remain in place 24 hours a day
- Camino de Oeste will remain closed at Camino de Mañana heading north
- There may be an increase in noise throughout the area with the increased construction activities
**As a reminder, adverse weather conditions could affect the scheduled activities.**

Thank you for your interest in the Tangerine Road improvements.
On Monday night, January 16, crews will be shifting traffic to the new eastbound lanes of Tangerine Road and installing temporary pavement markings, and shifting traffic to the south side of the Tangerine Road and Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard intersection. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- East and westbound traffic will be shifted to the new eastbound traffic lanes from just west of Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard to Camino De Oeste
- Westbound Tangerine Road will not have a designated right turn lane, however, right turns will be permitted
- Southbound Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard will not have a designated right turn lane, however right turns will be permitted
- All turn movements and business access will be maintained
- The speed limit is 25 MPH
- Expect delays
Beginning Monday, January 16 at 8 p.m. through Thursday, January 19, at 4 p.m. the contractor will be paving a portion of North Mountain Centre Road. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- North Mountain Centre Road will be temporarily closed from Tangerine Road to just south of the Legacy Apartments’ entrance
- No turns will be permitted from Tangerine Road to North Mountain Centre Road
- Business and resident access will be maintained off Dove Mountain
On Friday, January 20 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. the contractor will be installing sewer sleeving at the second entrance of Dove Mountain Center, east of the Tangerine Road and Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard intersection. The traveling public can expect the following:
- The Dove Mountain Center second entrance will be temporarily closed
- No turns will be permitted from Tangerine Road into the Dove Mountain Center second entrance
- Business access will be maintained by alternate entrances
On Tuesday, January 10 through Thursday, January 26, 24 hours a day, the following traffic control will be in place while the contractor completes waterline work along Tangerine Road from Thornydale Road to La Cañada:
- East and westbound traffic will be intermittently shifted around the work areas onto the temporary, paved detour
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 MPH
- Concrete barriers will be in place around the work area to ensure the safety of all
From Monday, January 9 through Tuesday, January 17, flaggers may be present at interim locations along Tangerine Road from Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard to La Cañada Drive to support paving operations and utility work. Drivers should be prepared to stop and expect delays.

Beginning Monday, January 9, the following traffic control will be in place while the contractor preps for upcoming paving activities:
- The north driveway on Thornydale Road into the Shoppes at Tangerine Crossing will be temporarily closed for 2-3 hours in the afternoon, while crews repair the existing asphalt in the northbound lane of Thornydale Road
- The speed limit will be reduced from 35 MPH to 25 MPH on Tangerine Road from Thornydale Road to La Cañada Drive
- The speed limit will be reduced from 35 MPH to 25 MPH along Thornydale Road south of Tangerine Road for approximately ½ mile
Beginning Tuesday, January 10 through Friday, January 13, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, crews will be paving the new eastbound travel lanes from Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard through Camino de Oeste including all paved side streets, driveways, and Camino de Oeste on the south side of Tangerine Road. During this time residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Work hours will be extended on Tuesday, January 10, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- On Wednesday, January 11 through Thursday, January 12 traffic will be intermittently reduced to one lane of alternating travel. Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic
- There will be increased construction traffic during paving operations
- All business and resident access will be maintained
- Expect delays
Beginning Thursday, January 12, through Saturday, January 14, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Tangerine Corridor Constructors will prep and pave the southeast corner of the Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard and Tangerine Road intersection. Paving activities are scheduled for Saturday, January 14 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this time residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Northbound and southbound Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction
- There will be no dedicated left or right turn lanes
- Marana Police will be onsite Saturday, January 14 to help direct traffic during paving activities
- Expect delays
From Monday, January 9 through Tuesday, January 17, flaggers may be present at interim locations along Tangerine Road from Twin Peaks Road/Dove Mountain Boulevard to La Cañada Drive to support paving operations and utility work. Drivers should be prepared to stop and expect delays.
