Thank you for your interest in the Tangerine Road improvements.
Beginning Monday, April 3, through Wednesday, April 5, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be reconstructing access to Camino de Oeste, north of Tangerine Road. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Access to north Camino de Oeste will be temporarily closed at Tangerine Road
- - Please use alternate route
- On Monday, April 3 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. flaggers onsite to direct alternating, one-way traffic on Tangerine Road at Camino de Oeste
- - Expect Delays
Beginning at 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, traffic will be shifted near the intersection of Thornydale Road and Tangerine Road to help facilitate the reconstruction of Thornydale Road. This traffic control is scheduled to be in place through mid-summer. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- East and westbound Tangerine Road will be shifted to the south
- North and southbound Thornydale Road will be shifted to the east
- One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph on Thornydale Road from Camino De Manana to north Vista Ranch Place
- The intersection of Thornydale Road and Tangerine Road, will be reduced to one lane in each direction
- - A dedicated left turn lane will be provided in each direction
- Temporary concrete barriers and traffic control devices will be placed between the construction area and the travel lanes
- Please be cautious while driving around temporary traffic control
On Thursday, April 6, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, the contractor will be re-striping and setting barrier wall on Tangerine Road from Thornydale Road to La Cholla Boulevard. The traveling public can expect the following:
- Striping trucks will be utilizing full lanes
- Flaggers will be onsite to help direct traffic in the areas that require barrier wall
- Expect delays
On Friday, April 7 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be chip sealing on Camino De Oeste from Rain Cloud Street to Moore Road. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Flaggers and pilot cars will be onsite to direct alternating, one-way traffic on Camino De Oeste
- Left turns will not be permitted from Rain Cloud Street onto Camino de Oeste
- Speed limits will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone
- Expect delays

On Thursday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. the contractor will be working on traffic signals at the intersection of Thornydale and Tangerine Roads. The traveling public and residents can expect the following traffic control:
- All traffic signals will be temporarily out of service
- Marana Police will be onsite to help direct traffic
- Expect slight delays
The following work will be rescheduled for a later date.
On Friday, March 31 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be chip sealing on Camino De Oeste from Rain Cloud Street to Moore Road. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Flaggers and pilot cars will be onsite to direct alternating, one-way traffic on Camino De Oeste
- Left turns will not be permitted from Rain Cloud Street onto Camino de Oeste
- Speed limits will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone

Beginning Thursday, March 23 at 7 a.m. through Friday, March 24 at 4 p.m., Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be constructing the east median on Tangerine Road at the intersection of Tangerine Road and Dove Mountain Boulevard. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Eastbound Tangerine Road, at the Tangerine Road and Twin Peaks Boulevard intersection, will be reduced to one through lane
- Traffic control will be in place 24 hours a day
- Expect delays
On Friday, March 24 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tangerine Corridor Constructors will pave patches on Thornydale Road, north of Tangerine Road. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction in front of the Fry's shopping center on Thornydale Road
- There will be no dedicated left or right turn lanes
- The intersection will not be restricted
Beginning Friday, March 24 through Monday, March 27, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Tangerine Corridor Constructors will pave existing patches on Tangerine Road from Thornydale Road to La Cañada. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Flaggers will be onsite to direct alternating, one-way traffic on Tangerine Road
- Speed limits will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone
- Expect delays

Beginning Tuesday, March 14, through Friday, March 31, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be constructing the north and south median at the intersection of Tangerine Road and Dove Mountain Boulevard. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Northbound and southbound Tangerine Road at Dove Mountain Boulevard will be reduced to one through lane
- Dedicated left and right turn lanes will be maintained
- Traffic control will be in place 24 hours a day
- Expect delays

Beginning Monday, March 13, through Tuesday, March 14, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be constructing the east median at the intersection of Tangerine Road and Dove Mountain Boulevard. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Westbound Tangerine Road at Dove Mountain will be reduced to one through lane
- Dedicated left and right turn lanes will be maintained
- Traffic control will be in place 24 hours a day
- Expect delays
Beginning Tuesday, March 14, through Wednesday, March 22, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be constructing the north and south median at the intersection of Tangerine Road and Dove Mountain Boulevard. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Northbound and Southbound Tangerine Road at Dove Mountain will be reduced to one through lane
- Dedicated left and right turn lanes will be maintained
- Traffic control will be in place 24 hours a day Expect delays
Beginning Monday, March 13, through Tuesday, March 14, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Tangerine Corridor Constructors will be installing sewer infrastructure across Tangerine Road at Sage Brook Road. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Sage Brook Road will be temporarily closed each day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Flaggers will be onsite to direct alternating, one-way traffic on Tangerine Road at Sage Brook Road
- Traffic control will be removed at the end of each work day
- Speed limits will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone
- Expect delays
Over the next 3-4 weeks there will be an increased amount of truck traffic, hauling in material, between Thornydale Road and La Cañada Boulevard on Tangerine Road. Please do not follow trucks into the work zone. Proceed with caution.

Beginning Monday, March 6, through Wednesday, March 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, the contractor will be installing sewer infrastructure across Tangerine Road at Sage Brook Road. Residents and the traveling public can expect the following:
- Sage Brook Road will be temporarily closed each day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- On Monday, March 6, eastbound Tangerine Road will be shifted to the north at Sage Brook Road to accommodate work activities
- On Tuesday, March 7 and Wednesday, March 8, flaggers will be onsite to direct alternating, one-way traffic on Tangerine Road at Sage Brook Road
- Traffic control will be removed at the end of each work day
- Expect delays
- Speed limits will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone
For your safety, please be aware that the contractor has placed barrier walls at all drainage locations along Tangerine Road between Thornydale Road and La Cholla Boulevard.
